Is It Just the Glass, or the Whole Screen?

This is the first question we answer, because it decides your price. An iPhone screen has several layers: the outer glass you touch, the touch sensor (digitizer) and the display underneath. A crack in the outer glass does not always mean the display is damaged.

A quick check at home: if the picture is clear with no black spots, lines or colour patches, and touch works everywhere, the display may be fine. If you see dead zones, ghost touches, green or purple lines or ink spots, the display or sensor is usually damaged too. We confirm this in person in a few minutes.

Your Two Repair Options

Glass-only repair [CONFIRM availability by model]

Full screen replacement

What we replace

The cracked front glass only; the original display stays

The whole display assembly (glass, touch sensor and display)

Best when

The display works perfectly and only the glass is cracked

The display shows lines, spots or dead touch zones, or the damage is severe

Typical cost

Often lower than a full replacement [CONFIRM]

Depends on part grade and model

We will tell you honestly which option fits your phone. If glass-only is not a safe option for your model or the damage is too deep, we will say so rather than sell you a repair that may fail.

How We Repair Cracked iPhone Glass

  • Free check and quote. We inspect the glass, display, touch response, Face ID and cameras, then explain what is damaged and what each option costs.
  • You approve the price. No work starts until you say yes. Back up your phone first if you can.
  • Careful repair. Our technician removes the damaged glass or display and fits the new part with correct adhesive and sealing.
  • Full testing. Before handover we test touch across the whole screen, brightness, True Tone, Face ID, cameras, speakers and charging.
  • Handover with care tips. You get the phone back with advice on protectors and cases that suit your model.

Most repairs take about, depending on the model and part availability. If we need to order a part, we will tell you the day when you drop off.

Why Fix Cracked Glass Instead of Waiting?

  • Cracks spread. Pocket pressure and temperature changes can turn a small crack into a large one and damage the display beneath.
  • Safety. Sharp edges can cut fingertips.
  • Protection. Damaged front glass can let dust and moisture reach the inside of the phone.
  • Resale value. A cracked phone sells for far less than a repaired one.
  • Cost. A glass or screen repair costs a fraction of a new iPhone.

If your phone is old and the repair costs close to what it is worth, we will tell you that too.

Our Warranty and Parts

“Every repair comes with a lifetime warranty on parts and labour.” OR “Every repair comes with a 1-year warranty on parts and labour.”] The warranty covers defects in the part and workmanship, such as touch problems or lifting glass. It does not cover new drops, new cracks or liquid damage after the repair.

We tell you which part grade we use before the repair: [Apple genuine / OEM-grade / premium aftermarket OLED / LCD]. Ask us and we will show you the part.

Protect Your iPhone Glass After the Repair

  • A case with raised edges. It keeps the screen off the surface when the phone lands face down.
  • Keep it apart from keys and coins in pockets and bags.
  • Avoid extreme heat and cold. Do not leave your phone on a car dashboard.
  • Use both hands when standing over hard floors or concrete.

Costs vary by model and repair service but typically range from $50 to $250, depending on the iPhone generation and whether it’s front or back glass.

DIY repair is possible but not recommended for beginners, as it requires precision tools and expertise to avoid further damage. Professional repair is safer.

Professional repairs usually take 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the model and service provider.

It depends on your iPhone model and whether you need glass-only repair or a full screen replacement. Our prices are in the table above, and we give a written quote before any work starts.

For a short time if touch works and there are no sharp edges. But cracks tend to spread and can let in dust and moisture, so we recommend repairing it soon. Until then, cover it with clear tape or a screen protector to avoid cuts.

Only when the display and touch sensor underneath are perfect. If you see lines, ink spots, green or purple tints or dead touch areas, a full screen replacement is usually the more reliable repair.

We test Face ID, True Tone, cameras and touch after every repair. Water resistance cannot be guaranteed after any repair that opens the phone, because the original factory seal is disturbed, even though we reseal it carefully.
